Media Discourse Officer /

Rachel is the Office’s point of contact for all inquiries from the media. She coordinates outreach with journalists, print and digital media outlets, and supports the creation and dissemination of materials related to all lines of action within the Office – with a particular focus on raising awareness of and defending the rights of persecuted Bahá’í communities around the world. She seeks to increase the Office’s capacity for contributing to the discourses of society by engaging with individuals and organizations exploring the role of media in society. Rachel holds a M.A. in Education and Human Development with a focus on education in emergencies from The George Washington University and a B.S. in Political Science and a B.A. in French from the University of Montevallo.
