115th US Bahá’í National Convention: May 18 – 21, 2023
In each Bahá’í national community, every adult Bahá’í in good standing, aged 18 or above, holds the eligibility to participate in grassroots elections, termed as unit conventions. These conventions convene annually across the country. During these gatherings, Bahá’ís exercise their voting rights via secret ballot to select delegates. These delegates bear the responsibility of electing nine individuals to serve on the National Spiritual Assembly for a one-year term. Subsequently, the National Spiritual Assembly is elected during the National Convention.
