Public AFFAIRS
The Baha’i International Community represents the worldwide Baha’i community, whose members come from every national, ethnic, religious, cultural, and socio-economic background, at the United Nations and other global and regional fora.
The Office of Public Affairs of the Baha’is of the United States (OPA), based in Washington, DC, represents the U.S. Baha’i community in its relationships with the U.S. government, non-governmental organizations, the media, and the broader public.

Centers OF LEARNING
The Baha’is of the United States operate three year-round conference and retreat centers
that offer a wide range of programming for adults, youth and children.
Seasonal Schools are held during winter and summer breaks at community centers, college campuses, and other locations around the country. Generally lasting a few days to a week, these programs offer informal, family-friendly spaces to deepen friendships and learn more about the Baha’i Faith.

SCHOLARSHIP
The Wilmette Institute offers accredited online courses and free webinars on a wide range of topics relating to Baha’i teachings, history, and current practice.
Created to mark the centenary of the visit to America by Abdu’l-Bahá, the son of the Founder of the Baha’i Faith, this site offers a trove of primary materials, including photographs, transcripts of talks, diary entries, and newspaper clippings marking this seminal event in the history of the U.S. Baha’i community.
The Association for Baha’i Studies–North America focuses on developing capacity among people from all walks of life to draw from the Baha’i teachings to contribute to professional and academic discourses in their respective fields. The Association holds an annual conference, sponsors seminars and symposia, and publishes a peer-reviewed journal, The Journal of Baha’i Studies.
Irfan colloquia are held several times per year to foster systematic study of the belief system of the Baha’i Faith and its interface with various religions and schools of thought.
